Explanation of Data File

Product Details

The Reference Atmosphere Data File consists of 4 main segments. These contain the following data sets:

  1. Geometric Height, Geopotential Height, Pressure, Density, Virtual Temperature

  2. Wind Data containing:

    • Mean and standard deviation wind speeds for E-W (U), N-S (V), and scalar winds (W) in m/s

    • Correlation between U and V (R(U,V)hôtels Salzbourg) and Skew values for scalar winds

    • Number of observations taken (NOBS)

  3. hoteles alojamiento Bauska Mean, standard deviation, skew values and number of observations for:

    • Pressure (mb)

    • Temperature (deg K)

    • Density (g/m^3)

  4. Mean, standard deviation, skew values and number of observations for:

    • Vapor Pressure (mb)

    • Virtual Temperature (deg K)

    • Dewpoint Temperature (deg K)

All four sets of data present values at heights from the surface to 70 km (in steps of 1 km from 0 to 30 km, and steps of 2 km from 30 km to 70 km). Additionally, each data set has thirteen different height series: one for each month of the year plus an annual average.
